Via Verdi housed the entrance to the Nicotera-Pontieri Palace, which later became Nicotera di Martà. With the transfer of the main branch of the Nicotera family to Nicastro, buildings were built in the inner courtyard of the building for other branches of the family. This change transformed the stone portal into a screening, accessible without a door. This architectural detail testifies to the historical and social evolution of the area, adding additional charm to your stay in the Green Room.
